This WordPress MultiUser (MU) site was originally built to handle the increasing need for easy-to-manage personal and project websites within the Information Security Group, and to augment the existing web hosting requirements of users in light of the move to Contensis.

Originally launched as a Beta service to explore the possibility of an easy-to-manage CMS for staff, WordPress MU was quickly realized as a reliable alternative to Contensis for individual users and projects.

With the increase in joint ventures between Mathematics, Information Security and Computer Science technical teams in 2012, WordPress MU expanded to cover the requirements of the Computer Science department

Today, the MU environment continues to grow, and is now capable of hosting sites for staff, research groups and projects across multiple departments.
